NORAS DE LA VERA - STRINGS ±100unit
The ñora is a small, red and round pepper, which is normally dried in the sun and used in countless dishes and products throughout the territory, but especially in the Levant and along the entire Mediterranean coast.
It is a versatile ingredient in local cuisine and highly appreciated as it provides a distinctive colour and flavor, it is sweet and has an intense aroma. Despite being from the same species, it is not spicy as the chilli can be and it is not slightly bitter as the chorizo pepper can be. What it does share with the latter is its way of conservation: they are left to dry tied in strings and hung in the air, for greater durability.
Storage:
Storage in a cool and dry place.
Serving Suggestion:
For a distinctive final flavor, ñora can be used in an endless number of recipes: stews, stews or soups, as one more condiment.
