Choricero pepper is a pepper variety native to Northern Spain and highly valued in the area.


made from Spanish Choricero peppers which are large, very slightly spicy red peppers that have been air-dried and rehydrated and pureed. 

Choriceros give a rich earthy flavour to soups and casseroles and a little more spice and less sweetness than Nora peppers and are an important ingredient in Spanish cooking, particularly in dishes from the north of Spain.
