What is Amigo Food Group?

 Amigo Food Group is a food importer and wholesale supplier offering a wide range of food and ingredients for your business every day and special event needs. We deliver to your business using our own temperature-controlled van fleet.

 

How do I place an order?

Orders can be placed:

  1.             Through our website: www.amigofoodgroup.com.
  2.              By email: orders@amigofoodgroup.com.
  3.              Over the phone: 0333 800 9999.

 We DO NOT process orders received by text messages and WhatsApp, as, unfortunately, this only leads to undesired missed orders and misunderstandings.

 

How do I know how much I am ordering?

    We understand that some products could be a bit confusing on how to order them.

    This explanation should help:

  1.              Every product has a description of the format it comes in.
  2.              Every product has a unit of purchase which are: CASE, KG, UNIT, PACK, ETC.
  3.              When you put 1 you are ordering either 1 case, 1kg, 1 unit, 1 pack, etc.

* Our Boneless Jamon serrano Reserva comes in whole pieces of approx. 5kg.

** (per kg) means how much we charge for this product.

*** We sell by the unit, as it comes in approx 5kg pieces. When ordering 2, we will deliver 2 units which are 2 Jamones approx 10kg.

* Our Frozen spinach portions come in cases of 4x2.5kg.

** We sell and charge by the case, when you order 1 we will deliver 1 case.

 

How does the website work?

  1.             Once you get registered, our head office will approve your account.
  2.              You can search on our website for products of your interest using the search tool.
  3.             We suggest keeping your regular products in your favourites so your ordering will be smoother and faster next time.

 

Where and when does Amigo Food Group deliver?

                Amigo Food Group currently delivers to most London areas five days a week (Mon-Fri) and some outside London areas on specifically agreed days.

 

Ordering

When can I order?

                 Our office is open from 8:30 AM to 16:30 PM, Monday to Friday. You can order whenever you want as our business is 24h open to take orders.

 

What is the cut-off time for next-day delivery?

London Deliveries:

  • We deliver Monday to Friday across central London.
  • Cut-off time: Place your order by 10:30 PM for next-day delivery, unless a specific date is arranged.

Deliveries Outside London:

  • We deliver Tuesday to Friday nationwide, partnering with DHL.
  • Cost: £8.99 + VAT per 20kg box.
  • Cut-off time: Place your order by 12:00 PM for next-day delivery.
  • No minimum order is required for standard deliveries.

 

 

What type of products can I buy?

 

         At Amigo Food Group, we sell over 800 products, from Michelin-star quality ingredients to everyday foods, cheeses, cured meats, extra virgin olive oil, seafood, preserves and recently a whole new range of retail-size products.

 

What’s the minimum spend?

 

              The minimum order value changes depending on your business location, the most standard is a minimum of £100.

 

Are there any delivery charges?

 

              At Amigo Food Group, we ship all our orders if an order doesn’t reach your minimum order value requirement there is a £20.00 delivery charge.

 

What if a product I ordered is out of stock?

 

        At Amigo Food Group we work hard to keep all products in stock although it eventually could happen that a product is temporarily out of stock if your order is received during office hours we will let know you in advance about the incident so you can backup yourself, if an order is received out of office hours, unfortunately, we will communicate with you the following working day.

 

What if there’s an issue with my order?

 

               Get in touch with our brilliant support team. We’ll endeavour to sort the issue out and put a smile back on your face.

 

Returns

Can products be returned?

               All claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery, claims made after this will be assessed at our discretion.

 

What goods can be returned?

 

          Damaged products without the expected quality can be returned for a refund or replacement. We are happy to accept the return of products that were purchased in error; however, due to health & safety procedures, some restrictions may apply to the return of chilled and frozen items.

 

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

 

               We accept bank transfers or cash. Unfortunately, we don’t have a card payment facility.

 

How do know how much I need to pay?

 

         You will receive the invoice for your purchase on the same day of your delivery by email or on printed paper. Every first working day of the month we will send an automatic statement so you are aware of your balance.
