Create authentic, consistent bases with Pizza Tomato Sauce (Mazza Pomodoro) 2x5kg (pouches format) a smooth, ready-to-use tomato sauce made for high volume service. Packed with rich tomato flavour and balanced acidity, it spreads easily for a perfect pizza base and also works brilliantly in pasta sauces, parmigiana, meatballs, lasagne, and dips. This slightly liquid mass, obtained by extrusion, contains a very small percentage of seeds and skins. The flesh is prepared using only tomatoes that have been grown in accordance with the provisions of the Emilia-Romagna Integrated Management Specifications, so that the product has been certified as 'quality controlled' and '100% Italian tomatoes'. The 2 x 5kg catering pouches format convenient for storage, ideal for pizzerias, restaurants and prep kitchens that need reliable quality and great yield.

Storage

Unopened: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
After opening: Transfer to a food safe airtight container, refrigerate (0–5°C) and use within 3–5 days for best quality (or follow pack guidance).
Freezing: Suitable for freezing portion into smaller containers to reduce waste and speed up prep.
