Pasteurised Double cream is based on fresh farm-assured cow’s milk, which has undergone legal pasteurisation, separation, homogenisation and standardisation to produce fresh pasteurised Double cream with a fat content of ≥48%. Double cream is fit for human consumption or for the production of food fit for human consumption meeting standards laid down in legislation.
Storage:
It should not be exposed to direct sunlight or strong odours. Containers should not be in direct contact with floors or walls. The storage temperature is <5˚C.
Serving suggestions:
Double cream has twice the fat content of single cream. This higher fat content means it can be whipped – great for desserts. But it's just as good poured or used to enrich sauces.
